What WhizzAct Private Limited collects when you use WhizzStudio, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Please have this reviewed. This policy describes honestly how the platform actually works, but it has not been checked by a lawyer. Before you rely on it — for a payment gateway application, an enterprise customer, or a regulator — have counsel review it against your obligations under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and any other law that applies to you.

Who is responsible

WhizzAct Private Limited (WhizzAct Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India) operates WhizzStudio and is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact us at legal@whizzact.com.

What we collect from you

Account details — your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and a hashed password. We never store your password itself.
Workspace content — the pages, images, text, products, customers and other records you create. This is yours; we hold it so the service can work.
Billing details — your plan, invoices and payment references. Card and bank details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
Operational logs — request logs and error reports, kept so we can keep the service running and investigate faults.

What your published sites collect

Sites you publish carry our first-party analytics beacon. It records a pageview, the path, a visitor identifier generated in the browser, and the campaign parameters or referrer that brought the visit. This data is written to your workspace and shown to you. It is not shared with any third party, and no advertising or tracking network is embedded in your pages.

If you add your own code or embeds to a site, whatever they collect is between you and their provider.

Why we may process it

To provide the service you have asked for and to keep your account working.
To take payment for a plan and to issue invoices.
To keep the platform secure, to prevent abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
To contact you about your account. We will not send marketing you have not asked for.

Who else sees it

We share data only with the providers who make the service work — hosting and storage, our payment gateway, and email delivery — and only what each needs. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

Where it is kept and for how long

Your data is stored on servers operated by our hosting provider. We keep workspace content for as long as your account is open. If you close your account we delete or anonymise what we hold within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records — invoices, for instance — to meet a legal obligation.

What you can ask for

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent where we relied on it. Write to legal@whizzact.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. If we cannot do what you have asked, we will tell you why.

Children

WhizzStudio is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and we will tell you directly if the change is significant.
